If you are going on your own I would suggest getting there early in the morning. Beach is open from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Before tourist bus starts coming in, you can really enjoy the beauty of this place.Xel-Ha is a protected area of lagoons and it is natural aquarium. Home to many variety of colorful tropical fishes. This is a good place for snorkeling. If you are taking a tour, snorkeling will most likely be included.
